Narcotics Raid Leads to Arrest and Seizure of Methamphetamine

On Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, the Burlington Township Police Department successfully executed a mid- morning raid at a residence within the unit block of Autumn Lane.

This raid was the product of a joint narcotics investigation conducted by the Burlington Township Police Department; the Middletown Township Police Department (PA); the Burlington County Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force; and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. The raid was executed with the assistance of the NJSP TEAMS Unit.

During the raid, officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana, various illegal prescription medications, and narcotics packaging/distribution material. The resident, a 60-year-old female, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Distribution of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Prescription Drugs with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of Prescription Drugs without a Script
  • Possession of Marijuana under 50 Grams
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
