Sixth annual ‘Touch a Truck’ rolls into Moorestown Mall

The sixth annual Touch A Truck event returns on Saturday, Sept. 23 with ambulances, mobile laboratories and more filling the parking lot of the Moorestown Mall.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, Oaks Integrated Care’s Touch A Truck event is pulling into the Moorestown Mall parking lot. The sixth annual event gives children of all ages the chance to see, touch, explore and learn about their favorite trucks.

Touch A Truck will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, in the Moorestown Mall parking lot on the Route 38 side of Boscov’s Department Store. Admission is free for children and $5 for adults. Tickets for food and activities will be available for purchase. The event features fun, family-friendly activities including a moon bounce, face painting, games, photo contest and more.

  • Ambulance
  • Mobile Laboratory
  • Humvee
  • Construction Vehicles
  • Police Car
  • Fire Truck
  • Tractor Trailer
  • And many more

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Oaks Integrated Care Food Pantries in Mt. Holly and Berlin which serve over 800 families a month.

“Hunger is a sad reality for many families in our community,” said Oaks Integrated Care CEO Derry Holland. “Touch A Truck gives families the opportunity to enjoy a fun filled day together while bringing awareness and support to an important cause in our community.”

Moorestown Mall Marketing Director, Lisa Milideo said the Moorestown Mall is excited to partner with Oaks Integrated Care.

“This event has become an annual tradition which just gets better every year as Oaks Integrated Care provides new activities and participants to the delight of our guests,” Milideo said.

Oaks Integrated Care offers more than 230 health and social service programs for vulnerable adults, children and families throughout New Jersey. Programs include group homes, in-home services, case management, day treatment, outpatient and partial care services, crisis stabilization services, food pantries and special needs supportive housing.
