On Tuesday, Aug. 29, two individuals were were arrested and charged with Shoplifting from Michaels on Nixon Dr. A 29-year-old woman from Brick concealed assorted jewelry and scrapbook material valued at $40. She was released on a summons. A 29-year-old fellow Brick woman concealed batteries, T-shirt lettering and candy valued at $20. She was also released on a summons.

On Wednesday, Aug. 30, a 25-year-old Burlington woman was arrested and charged with simple assault due to a domestic altercation. The woman was committed to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant.
