On Aug. 25, Evesham Police conducted a proactive narcotics investigation into the illegal sale of heroin in the township.

On Aug. 25, members of the Evesham Police Investigative Unit conducted a proactive narcotics investigation into the illegal sale of heroin in Evesham Township.
Police say the investigation led to the arrest of a Camden City man and the seizure of heroin allegedly intended for distribution.
According to police, a passenger in a vehicle stopped was also arrested for possession of pharmaceutical pills and marijuana.
During the proactive undercover operation, police say the subjects were arrested in an Evesham residential development.
Arrested:
A male, age 29, of Camden City, was charged with second-degree distribution of heroin and third-degree possession of heroin. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail with no bail.
A male, age 38, of Oaklyn, was charged with third-degree possession of pharmaceutical pills and a disorderly persons offense for possession of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance.
