The Eastern Junior Vikings face the Delran Bears in an afternoon of fun, family and football to honor service members.
Ott’s Tavern is sponsoring the veteran-appreciation event, which kicks off 1 p.m today at 1000 Victor Blvd in Voorhees, NJ. A series of games are scheduled as followed:
- 85 pounds team play at 1 p.m.
- 100 pounds team play at 3 p.m.
- 115 pounds play at 5 p.m.
- Junior High team plays at 7 p.m.
Aside from the football frenzy, the festivities will feature dunk tanks, obstacle routes, bounce houses and on-field salutes.
Local politicians will attend the 3 p.m. game to help honor local servicemen and women.
