get a microchip for your pet so you don’t lose them
Members of the Camden County Animal Alliance will be celebrating national “Check your CHIP Day” on Aug. 14 and 15. Did you know 15 percent of owners lose their pets even after 5 years, and sadly some of them are never found. During these days, the animal shelters will be offering up to 500 free pet microchips. Already have a chip? Come into the participating shelters to get your chip checked and get a new Pet ID tag for only $5.00. Information about services, clinics and adoptions will be available at each location.
The participating shelters include Animal Adoption Center, the Animal Welfare Association and the Camden County Animal Shelter.
Animal Adoption Center is located at 501 Berlin Rd in Lindenwold. The Animal Welfare Association is located at 509 Centennial Blvd in Voorhees. The Camden County Animal Shelter is located at 125 County House Rd in Sewell.
