Jerome A. Madden, Jr., of Moorestown, passed away on Tuesday, July 25 at the age 89. Jerome was originally from Pittsburgh where he was born and raised.
Jerome was the husband of Eleanor (nee Verbanac) and father of Joanne (John) Ouligian, Jerome A. (Jennifer) Madden III, Mary Madden and Eileen (Hunt) Durey. He was the brother of Isabel Duffy, Margaret Taylor, Sister Joanne Madden IHM and Leo Madden. Jerome is also survived by six grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 28 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on W. Main St. in Moorestown. The viewing will also take place Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home on E. Main St. in Moorestown. Interment will be at Washington’s Crossing Cemetery in Newtown, Pa.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Anthony’s Chapel at 1704 Harpster St. Pittsburgh, Pa. 15212.
