From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. shoppers will find adjustable bed frames, pillows, a vast array of mattresses and more.
Locals in the market for a new bed or bedroom accessories can find some deals and support local students at the same time by stopping by Cherokee High School on Sunday, Aug. 13 for Cherokee Football’s fourth annual mattress fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Shoppers will find adjustable bed frames, pillows, and a vast array of mattresses, along with floor assistants to help guide decisions.
More than 20 beds will be set up at the high school North Cafeteria as the room is transformed into a showroom filled with all sizes and styles. Name brands such as Simmons Beautyrest will be available for up to 50 percent off retail prices.
Shoppers can lie down to their hearts’ content and ask all the questions they want.
According to Custom Fundraising Solutions, creator of “The Mattress Fundraiser,” similar events have given back more than $20 million dollars to schools across the country.
“The concept is unusual but one that absolutely works,” said Joe Matejk, owner and founder of Custom Fundraising Solutions. “One in 10 people buy a new mattress every single year. We offer the community a quality product they need, at a great price, and the best part is that every sale benefits the school.”
