Gloucester Township Property Tax Bill extension

Due to a delay in residents receiving property tax bills, there will be a due date of 25 days after the mailing of the property tax bill

Property tax bills are typically mailed in the beginning of July of each year. However, due to delays in the State Budget Adoption Process final State aid figures for School Aid have not been confirmed by the State as of yet resulting in the delay of residents receiving their property tax bill.

As a result, there will be an extension of the due date of property tax bills. Under NJ law, the due date is 25 days after the mailing of the property tax bills. However, the Township does not know when it will get permission from the State to mail the property tax bills. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available from the State.
