Bikers to participate in seventh annual motorcycle run to prevent distracted driving

More than 400 bikers to participate in fundraiser to benefit Toni Donato-Bolis & Baby RJ Foundation on Sunday, July 9

More than 400 bikers will participate in a ride to raise awareness of distracted driving and to raise funds to benefit the Toni Donato-Bolis and Baby RJ Foundation on Sunday, July 9.

Bikers will embark on their ride from Barb’s Harley Davidson in Mt. Ephraim at 11 a.m. with a full police escort riding past the crash site on Pitman Downer Road which killed Toni Donato-Bolis, 28, and her unborn son RJ in 2011 due to a distracted driver on his cell phone. Donato-Bolis was two days away from giving birth. She left behind her daughter Mia Rose, now 6, and countless family and friends who loved and adored her.

The route will end at noon at Steakouts Homeplate in Pittsgrove Township for a finish line party featuring food, music, raffles, auction and more. A buffet lunch is included with a $30 donation to The Toni Donato-Boli and Baby RJ Foundation.

Having donated more than $61,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who have taken on the cause to prevent distracted driving, The Toni Donato-Bolis and Baby RJ Foundation gives students the opportunity to continue their studies at an accredited college, university or institute of higher learning. The Toni Donato-Bolis and Baby RJ Foundation is the only distracted driving awareness organization that not only talks to high school seniors on this topic, but also awards scholarships.
