Moorestown Rotary AMP inducts new member

Reema Scaramella is the newest member of the AMP Rotary Club.

At the Annual Rotary Club of Moorestown’s Changeover Dinner “AMP” (Alternative Meeting Program) Rotary Club inducted its newest member, Reema Scaramella.

Reema Scaramella, sister-in-law of long-standing rotarian, Carlo Scaramella, is a member of the Burlington County Bar Association and has served on the Association’s Board of Trustees since 2007. She heads the Community and Public Relations Committee and has been responsible for such community outreach projects as the free People’s Law School at the Mount Laurel Library, the Day of Service, which provides free legal services for clients in need and the Domestic Violence Training Clinic which trains attorneys to handle domestic violence cases for clients through South Jersey Legal Services. She is also the recipient of the Burlington County Outstanding Women in Profession Award.

AMP Rotary Club of Moorestown is a new off-shoot of the Rotary Lunch Club of Moorestown. AMP normally meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Harvest Restaurant from 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. However, their next meeting, July 18, will be held in the Garden Room at the Community House on Main Street in Moorestown. Judge Jeanne Covert, from the Burlington County Superior Court, will be the featured speaker, discussing important changes in the judicial system.

Rotary Club of Moorestown has been a strong presence in the community since 1925, providing scholarships to students, serving in the local community and supporting projects abroad.
