Newspaper Media Group held first-ever Wedding Expo

Sun Newspapers held first-ever Wedding Expo in Blackwood on June 11.

Newspaper Media Group, publisher of The Sun Newspapers, held its first-ever Sun Newspapers Wedding Expo on Sunday, June 11 The Palace Catering, 109 N. Black Horse Pike in Blackwood.

Brides and grooms to-be were invited to attend to explore vendors galore in every area of wedding preparation — from invitations to DJs to honeymoons to flowers. There was also a “Groom’s Room,” which featured special perks for the grooms, such as barbershops, cigar shops and more.

As part of the exciting night, we gave away a Free Wedding Package valued at more than $10,000 to one lucky engaged couple. To be eligible for the giveaway, couples were asked to submit their engagement stories to us, and the best story won!

The winner of the Wedding Giveaway was Alexandra Nester and Jake Stouch. First runner up was Dan Reed and Nina Della Franco, who won an engagement shoot from South J Weddings. Second runner up was Natasha Wyatt and Jason Jones, who won A Night of Fun with Tumbling Dice. Third runner up were Rachael Jasienski and Eric Lipscomb, who won a tuxedo rental from Formal Impressions.
