Borough, Berlin Police Department encourage community to enjoy a night outside on Aug. 1
The Borough of Berlin, in conjunction with the Berlin Borough Police Department, invites residents to lock their doors, turn on their lights and join their neighbors out in the street for National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
If you are interested in having a block party on your street or in your neighborhood, all you have to do is invite and organize your neighbors! One person will be designated as a Block Captain and should contact Patrolman Eric Wolf at [email protected] or (856) 767–4700 ext. 159. Please register as a Block Captain by Friday, July 28.
Participants will be added to the block-party list and will be visited by borough police, fire and EMS employees between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. Listed block parties will also receive various giveaways from these services.
Lastly, the borough wants to know who has the best pie in town! Bake your best pie and let your Block Captain know your party will participate. The Block Captain will let Patrolman Wolf know, so your pie can be put on the list for our various judges.
