On Campus: Haddonfield students graduate

Haddonfield residents are graduating and earning top honors.

Haddonfield’s students are graduating with top honors.

Michael Kurtz of Haddonfield made the Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Laura Kingham of Haddonfield is among the 607 students who earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2017 semester at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Laura, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kingham, is eligible for this honor by maintaining a 3.4 grade point average or higher.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison recognized students named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2016–2017 academic year. Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. Justin Skiba of Haddonfield was named to the College of Letters and Science’s Dean’s List.

Emily Katherine Rollo of Haddonfield received a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University on May 25. Commencement ceremonies for 443 Washington and Lee seniors were held on the University’s historic Front Lawn. Rollo majored in economics.

Christopher Marshall of Haddonfield received a Bachelor of Science from the Widener University School of Nursing.

Dwyer Freeman, of Haddonfield, a student at The University of Alabama, has been listed in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges founded by UA alumnus H. Pettus Randall Jr., is published annually and recognizes outstanding college students from across the United States.

James Gray of Haddonfield graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Communication at Emerson College’s 137th commencement ceremony, held on May 14. Approximately 975 bachelor’s degrees were conferred during the undergraduate exercises and nearly 270 master’s degrees were conferred during the graduate exercises.

Jeff M. Sabatini of Haddonfield was among more than 1,600 students who were named to the University of Scranton’s Dean’s List for the 2017 spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean’s List. Sabatini is a junior exercise science major in the University’s Panuska College of Professional Studies.

The following Haddonfield students were named to the University of Delaware Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester: Brad Donohue, Christine Colalillo, Claudia Brong, Devin Bulger, Jacqueline Juliano, Jacques Samaha, Jenna Sanchirico, Kacie Brandenburg, Kyle Wade, Rachel DeRosa and Samuel Oberholtzer.
