Jo Ann Leasure, a former councilwoman in Palmyra passed away on June 22 in her home in North Fort Myers, Florida. Leasure, 77, was also a candidate for Burlington County Freeholder.
Leasure was found unresponsive at around 9:45 a.m. at 3458 Hancock Bridge Parkway, according to the building manager.

Leasure, was very active in her church and will be missed by friends, family, and her congregation. Information about her service will be provided once details have been given.
