Heavy pedestrian traffic expected this weekend in Cherry Hill

Some parts of town may see heavy traffic due to the National Draw Women’s Lacrosse Amateur Championships taking place this weekend.

With the National Draw Women’s Lacrosse Amateur Championships taking place in Cherry Hill Township this weekend, residents may run into traffic delays in various parts of town.

Cherry Hill Police are advising residents to expect heavy pedestrian traffic near the tournament’s playing fields. The tournament will take place at Cherry Hill High School West, Cherry Hill High School East, Richterman and the Decou Recreation Complex. The pedestrian traffic is expected to last from 4 p.m. on Friday through 6 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition, a number of parking restrictions will be in effect in the neighborhoods surrounding Cherry Hill West. There will also be temporary no parking on Cropwell Road near Evesham and Kresson Roads. Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through any of the areas this weekend.
