Cherry Hill East Class of 2017 says good bye to high school

More than 500 seniors participated in commencement ceremonies at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on Thursday morning.

On Thursday morning, more than 500 members of the Cherry Hill High School East class of 2017 said good bye to high school and hello to their future. The class of 2017 participated in commencement ceremonies at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.

The graduation ceremony featured a number of student speakers, including Alexa Happ, SGA president Sung Kwang Oh, class president Madison Phillips, Zach Padersky, Emma Wooten and Rachel Lim, one of the school’s nine valedictorians.

A number of students were also recognized during the awards portion of the ceremony, including those enlisting in the military and students who achieved high grades during their four years of high school.
