On Friday, June 9, a 60-year-old man of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with theft by deception, forgery, criminal attempt theft by deception and fugitive from justice from the State of Pa. Matthews attempted to pass a bad check at Floor and Décor on Nixon Dr.

Also on Friday, a victim reported the theft of a Trek mountain bike from the rear of Brain Freeze Ice Cream Store on W. Main St. sometime between 6:45 p.m.and 7:45 p.m. The bike was recovered on June 10 in the rear of J Cleaner, W. Main St.

On Saturday, June 10, a resident was cutting their lawn on Grand Ave, went inside the house and when the resident came back outside, the mower was gone. The mower was left curbside.

On Sunday, June 11, a 29-year-old woman of Sewell was arrested and charged with shoplifting and burglary tools. White concealed women’s clothing in a handbag valued at $308.99 from Boscov’s Dept Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was in possession of a two-inch industrial strength magnet and was released on a summons.

On Monday, June 12, a 20-year-old man of Hainsport was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana less than 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and numerous motor vehicle tickets as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Creek Rd. He was released on special complaints.
