Murder-suicide claims life of Sicklerville resident
Investigators determined Ryon C. Reynolds, a Sicklerville resident and NJ Transit bus driver, was shot and killed by Woodbury resident Piacenta M. Jackson after Reynolds arrived for work around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6. Jackson then reportedly shot herself in a parking lot in Mantua.
Fishing fun comes to Sicklerville
The Special Parents & Kids Network will host its “Kids Hooked on Fishing & Not Drugs” event at Dramesi Lake on June 24. Registration is due by June 17. The organization is also celebrating its fourth birthday this month.
Gloucester Township residents head to the polls
In Gloucester Township, two candidates ran for mayor and six ran for three council seats to represent the Democratic Party in the upcoming general election this November. In last week’s primary, David Mayer was won the mayoral bid. Michelle Winters, Dan Hutchinson and Scott Owens were top for the three council seats.
