The funding was previously a single, one time $5,000 grant, but beginning in 2016 the fund received a large donation from the estate of a former Haddonfield High School teacher. This donation has allowed the fund to now award four, 4 year scholarships of $10,000 per year.

Bobby Fulton was a graduate of HMHS where he was a Scholar Athlete Award winner excelling in varsity basketball and golf. Fulton was killed in a car accident in the summer of 1973 after completing his first year at Lafayette College. Following the tragedy, two Tavistock members met with the Fulton family discuss perpetuating Bobby’s memory, and they decided to establish “The Bobby Fulton Scholarship fund” to provide financial assistance to young men and women meeting the criteria of academic excellence, special talents, community involvement and financial need.
