Kids make a mess at Cherry Hill Public Library

The library held its first ever Mess Fest on Saturday at the library’s Friendship Grove.

Kids of all ages got the chance to make a mess and not get in trouble over it on Saturday at the Cherry Hill Public Library.

The library hosted its first Mess Fest on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Kids of all ages enjoyed a variety of messy activities in the library’s friendship grove.

The event began with library staff filling a small pool with spaghetti. Kids, such as 4-year-old Jonah Sharp, dug around in the spaghetti and tried to recover some toys buried at the bottom.

The event also included stations where kids could write in chalk or paint on a long canvas stretched out across the grass. Firends Jaxson Burke and Kaiden Periera, pictured above, painted together on Saturday.

Kids also had a chance to blow bubbles, play around in the dirt and get pied in the face at other stations.
