Daughters of the American Revolution celebrates 100 years in Moorestown

The 185,000 members of Daughters of the American Revolution have a unified mission: to promote patriotism, preserve American history and educate today’s youth. Next month, the Moorestown — Isaac Burroughs chapter will celebrate 100 years since its founding.

Moorestown BOE member elected as VP for legislation/resolutions of the New Jersey School Boards Association

Moorestown Board of Education member Brandon J. Pugh was elected vice president for legislation/resolutions of the New Jersey School Boards Association during the organization’s semi-annual Delegate Assembly. The meeting took place on Saturday, May 20 at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor.

Multiple car burglaries reported in Moorestown

On Saturday, May 27, a resident of Country Club Drive reported a vehicle entered and a pair of sunglasses and possibly some loose change taken. On Friday, June 2, two residents on Hickory Lane reported that their vehicles were entered sometime overnight. Once victim reported the theft of a wallet.
