The Friends of the Burlington County Library will host its next used book / media sale from June 1 through June 4.
Readers can stop by the Burlington County Library to stock up on beach books and other summer reading supplies.
According to the friends, bargain hunters can find thousands of used books available, as well as a wide selection of DVDs, CDs, and more in the library’s meeting room in Westampton.
The sale will last from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on June 1, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 2, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 3 and 1 to 4:30 p.m. on June 4.
In addition, a preview sale offered to friends members will be held on June 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. Visitors can become a member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.
Most books have never been offered by the friends before and will cost 50 cents to $1 each. books, and books about history, cooking, business, music CDs will cost $1 each, and DVD movies and audiobooks will cost $2 each. Puzzles, games and coloring books for young children will also be available for 50 cents and $1 each.
Shoppers can also pick up friends logo tote bags for just $10 each to carry their purchases home.
As a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all Friends’ book/media sales.
In addition, the first 300 shoppers who purchase items at the June sale will receive $1 coupons that may be used at the next Friends’ book/media sale scheduled for Sept. 7 to Sept. 10.
All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming.
