Mt. Laurel Library to present screening of foreign film ‘Zero Motivation’ on May 28

The film is an absurdist comedy about war focusing on three women in the Israeli Army at an isolated military base.

The Mt. Laurel Library will present a screening of the foreign film “Zero Motivation” on May 28 starting at 2 p.m.

According to the library, the film follows in the tradition of “ M*A*S*H” and “Catch-22” as an absurdist comedy about war, with the film focusing on three women in the Israeli Army at an isolated military base where they confront their dreams, the day-to-day boredom of their jobs and the threat of war.

This film is In Hebrew with English subtitles and was released in 2014, unrated, with a running time of 97 minutes.

The screening is hosted by Irv Slifkin, author and Rowan College/Temple University professor.
