County Library to present Technology Dependence workshop

The workshop for adults 18 years and older will take place on Thursday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m.

The Technology Dependence workshop at Burlington County Library in Westampton will provide information on the potential negative impact of technology on the developing brain and behavior. Presented by Kriger Consulting, Inc., the workshop will take place at 6:30 on Thursday, May 25.

Attendees can discover how social networking, texting, gaming and electronic interactions can contribute to decreased social skills as well as violence in the home and school. The program will also address the potential for substance abuse.

Workshop goers can learn steps to decrease acting out, improve family life balance, enhance social interactions and decrease the potential for high-risk behaviors.
