Mt. Laurel Library to host movie matinee with screening of ‘Florence Foster Jenkins’ on May 18

The showing begins at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

On Thursday, May 18, the Mt. Laurel Library will host a screening of the film Florence Foster Jenkins, starting at 2 p.m.

According to the library, the film follows the story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice.

Among others, the film stars Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant.

The film has a run time of 111 mins and is rated PG-13.
