Haddonfield Farmers Market to reopen for the season

The Haddonfield Farmers Market will open for the season at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20 in Kings Court at Kings Highway East.

The Haddonfield Farmers Market will open for the season at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20 in Kings Court at Kings Highway East. Haddonfield Commissioners will celebrate the opening with an official ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.

The opening day celebration will include an introduction to the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Inside-Out Art program — an outdoor exhibition of artwork replications. A guided tour of several of the pieces and selections from the Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust will leave from the market following the ribbon cutting and welcome announcement.

Other opening day activities include live entertainment by Sam Matt and GG Caruso as well as giveaways, games and prizes from the Haddonfield Public Library. Library representatives will be on-hand to sign up shoppers for library cards and to help them check out books. The library will also bring items made from their 3-D printer as giveaways.

The Haddonfield Farmers Market is sponsored by the Partnership for Haddonfield, Camden County, Rotary Club of Haddonfield, Republic Bank and Lourdes Health System.

The Farmers Market is open every Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May 20 through October 28. For more information about the Farmers Market and for a list of vendors, visit www.haddonfieldfarmersmarket.org.
