The Haddonfield Municipal Alliance will host a presentation on the local impact of opiate abuse at HMHS on Tuesday, May 23.
The Haddonfield Municipal Alliance (HMA) is sponsoring a night for the community to learn about the current “opiate epidemic” in the state and within the Haddonfield community on Tuesday, May 23 from 7 to 8:00 p.m. in the Haddonfield Memorial High School auditorium. The presentation is titled “Haddonfield’s Opiate Crisis: Bringing Awareness, Resources, and Hope to the Community.”
During this night, the HMA will have three speakers. Zac Clark, a former graduate of HMHS, will discuss his story as a Haddonfield teenager and his struggles to change his life. He will bring pertinent information to the Haddonfield community from both his personal and professional experiences.
Dr. Michael McCormick, a physician with Caron Treatment Centers, and Christine Storm, a prevention educator, will bring expertise regarding the current issues and various information to educate the community on the drug issues.
