Evesham Police arrest and charge lewdness suspect with endangering the welfare of a child

Police say the investigation dates to Dec. 30 when teenage girls reported a naked man ran toward them near Ravens Row and Fox Chase Road.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On May 2, the Evesham Police Department charged a Shamong man with endangering the welfare of a child and lewdness.

The investigation began on Dec. 30 at 1:07 p.m., when officers responded to the area of Ravens Row and Fox Chase Road in Marlton for the report of a lewdness complaint/attempted luring.

Upon arrival, the caller reported his 15-year-old daughter and her 14-year-old friend ran into his home after reporting that a naked man got out of his vehicle and ran toward them.

On May 1, the Medford Police Department also investigated a lewdness incident.

According to Evesham Police, the investigation, conducted by the Medford Township Police, identified the subject as a 29 year-old male from the 100 block of Nanticoke Trail in Shamong.

According to Evesham Police, their investigation determined that suspect was allegedly the male in the Dec. 30 incident in Evesham Township.

Evesham Police say they charged the male with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and a disorderly person offense for lewdness.
