The three students auditioned with thousands of peers over the past two weekends.
Washington Township High School juniors Madelyn Yerkes, Amanda Watson and Janel Weeks have been named to the All-State Chorus after auditioning with thousands of their peers over the past two weekends. Yerkes and Watson were accepted in the 2017 All-State Mixed Chorus. Weeks was named to the 2018 Treble Chorus.
“All three of our students will be preparing a concert of challenging repertoire and will perform concerts during the 2017–18 school year,” WTHS choral director Joe Zachowski said. “We are so proud of their fine representation of township choir and Washington Township High School.”
