Friends of Burlington County Animal Shelter to host 5K Run/Walk and Pet Fest on April 29

All proceeds from the 5K, walk and pet fest will benefit the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

The Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter will be hosting its Paw Prints 5K Run and Walk on the morning of April 29, with the 2017 Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dogs Pet Fest to follow.

All proceeds from the 5K, walk and pet fest will benefit the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter. Participants are also welcomed to run or walk with their well-conditioned dogs.

The 5K run and walk begin will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the one mile fun walk beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Race Day registration and packet pickup begins at 8 a.m.

Early-bird registration for the race is $35 until April 27 and $40 on the day of the event. Early-bird registration for the walk is $20 until April 27 and $25 on the day of the event.

All runners and walkers are also encouraged to solicit pledges.

The event will be held at the Burlington County Special Services Schools, 20 Pioneer Blvd, Westampton, in the same county complex as the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Beginning at 11 a.m. after the run and walk, the Fifth Annual Barb Feldstein Memorial Raining Cats & Dogs pet festival will commence.

The event will feature free family fun with a Kid Fun Zone, music, vendors, food and much more.
