A talent show at Coffee Works and upcoming productions and programs at Voorhees Theatre Company give young residents a chance to shine.

Voorhees Theatre Company strives to involve everyone in the community

If you have the drive and commitment, you can get involved in the Voorhees Theatre Company. The theater will put on three musical productions this year, and young residents who wish to get involved are encouraged to sign up for its summer programs. In the fall, it will put on an all ages production anyone can participate in.

Talent show at Coffee Works awards aspiring young singers with career opportunities

At the “Voices A-Loud” talent show hosted by Creative Arts Summer Theater, 30 young performers were given the chance to sing and compete in front of an audience. Winners received prizes that would help the singers advance their careers, such as headshots, music lessons, and even time in a recording studio.

Ninth annual Walk 4 Family & Friends with Cancer to happen Sunday, April 30

All proceeds will benefit the Abramson Cancer Center and Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Southern New Jersey Financial Assistance for Cancer Patients Program. The walk will start at the Voorhees Middle School.
