Burlington County alerts residents of phone scam involving false claims of missed jury duty

Burlington County is reminding residents that enforcement of juror summonses is not conducted by telephone or email.

Burlington County has been notified that residents have recently been receiving calls from individuals claiming to be from the Jury Management Office in Mt. Holly.

According to the county, the individual in the calls states they are calling residents because they missed jury duty and owe a fine.
