Palmyra Cove Nature Park looking for volunteers

Palmyra Cove Nature Park has volunteer opportunities for two dates in April.

Palmyra Cove Nature Park has volunteer opportunities for events taking place on Saturday, April 22 and Saturday, April 29.

On April 22, volunteers of any age can join in on the Cove’s Earth Day spring cleaning from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers will remove trash from the shore-line and park, prepare the gardens for pollinator plantings, and remove some invasive plant species.

On April 29, volunteers can join Palmyra Cove Nature Park’s Head Gardener, Ward Dasey, in planting the Pollinator Garden, which will attract species such as Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, various butterflies and other pollinators. Volunteers are asked to please bring their own trowel and water bottle.

Registration is required for both events. To register contact Kristina Merola at kmerola@bcbridges.org.
