Weekly Roundup: There are many fundraisers to support the Berlin community

This week, organizations and community members around Berlin announced many fundraisers to help improve the lives of the people in the community.

Register for Victorious Foundation’s Wine and Food Tasting Night

Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation will hold a fundraiser on Friday, April 7 at 6 p.m. The foundation was created to benefit children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Donations are $50 online, and $60 at the door. All proceeds for the event will benefit these children.

Education Foundation at Eastern High School lets students buy a permanent piece of the school

Eastern Regional High School’s Education Foundation is running an ongoing fundraiser that allows students to purchase a brick engraved with the student’s and/or their family’s names. The brick will be paved into the garden area to the left of the school’s main entrance and in front of the Performing Arts Center. A 6 by 6 inch brick costs $50, and a 6 inch by 9 inch brick costs $100.

Support the Berlin Police K-9 fund

The Berlin Police Department is adding a furry partner to their ranks, but needs help raising necessary costs. Their goal is to raise $20,000 for the K-9 while the officers train. Click the link to see how to make donations.
