Yard hours, leaf collection some of the items listed
The Department of Neighborhood Services announced Saturday hours for 2017 at the Department of Public Works Yard/Garage/Dump, located at 2 Commonwealth Drive (behind Bob Meyer Park). The DPW yard will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays:
April 8 and April 22
May 6 and May 20
June 3 and June 17
July 8 and July 15
Aug. 19
Sept. 9 and Sept. 16
Oct. 14 and Oct. 21
Nov. 18
Dec. 16
Regular yard hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Holidays are excluded.

Brush collection update
The Department of Neighborhood Services has begun spring brush collection. Due to inclement weather during the week of March 13, the collection was delayed one week for Zone 5. Brush should be placed at the street no later than the Monday of the first scheduled collection week. Each street will be collected once. Brush should be free of leaves and other foreign debris. The brush collection schedule is as follows:
Zone 5: Weeks of March 20 and March 27
Zone 4: Weeks of March 27 and April 3
Zone 3: Weeks of April 10 and April 17
Zone 2: Weeks of April 24 and May 1
Zone 1: Weeks of May 8 and May 15
Leaf Collection Update:
Leaf Collection was completed in December. No additional roadside collections are scheduled until October 2017. Residents with leaves to dispose of may bring them to the DPW yard during regular yard hours. Residents who place leaves at the street for collection could be cited for violation of Township Ordinance.
