Kennedy University Hospital has announced its new Medical Staff officers

Each has been elected for a two year term.

Dr. Henry (“Henny”) Schuitema, Chief of Staff, is also system-wide Chief of Emergency Medicine at Kennedy and, since 1996, has been Medical Director of the Kennedy University Hospital — Stratford Emergency Department. Dr. Schuitema is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. A Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, he resides in Medford.

Dr. Mark Schuster, Medical Staff Vice Chief, is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. A graduate of Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM), he is fellowship-trained in Nephrology, has been named a “Top Doc” by South Jersey Magazine and “Teacher of the Year” by Kennedy and UMDNJ-SOM (2009, 2010, 2011). A Clinical Nephrologist with Nephrology & Hypertension Associates of New Jersey, Dr. Schuster lives in Cherry Hill.

Dr. Daniel Tarditi, Medical Staff Treasurer, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. A graduate of Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM), he is also fellowship-trained in Cardiology. Dr. Tarditi is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association and several other professional organizations. A cardiologist with Cardiovascular Associates of the Delaware Valley, Dr. Tarditi resides in Haddonfield.

The election was held at Kennedy’s recent annual Medical Staff meeting at the Mansion in Voorhees. The Medical Staff Officers represent the interests of Kennedy physicians, and work closely with administration in strategic planning, quality improvement and other health care delivery issues.
