Shoplifting and narcotics arrests in latest Mt. Laurel Police report

Police also report iPad and wallet thefts in recent weeks.

The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:

On March 7, Mt. Laurel Police investigated the theft of an iPad that had been left unattended on a table at McDonalds, 3049 Route 38. The investigation led to the arrest of Anthony R. Bell, age 30, of Willingboro. He was charged with theft and committed to the Burlington County Jail.

At 12:03 p.m. on March 16, Mt. Laurel Police conducted an investigation into suspicious activity at a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73. During the investigation, officers arrested Kathleen A. Brodzik, age 26, of Evesham. She was charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.

A snow blower was stolen from a locked storage shed at a hotel on Crawford Place between March 11 and March 16.

A resident on the first block of Meadowrue Drive reported someone stole a wallet from his unlocked vehicle between March 13 and March 14. The wallet contained identification and credit cards.

At 3 p.m. on March 14, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 500 block of Fellowship Road for a narcotics complaint. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesus F. Bribiesca, age 40, of Las Vegas. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court hearing.

At 11:30 p.m. on March 13, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a residence on the 1200 block of Hainesport Road for a theft report. The resident reported that he saw someone inside his unlocked vehicle. He exited his residence and the suspect fled stealing an iPhone charger.

On March 13, a resident of the 1500 building of Ralston Drive reported packages were stolen from their front porch between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on March 7.

Between March 11 and March 12, someone spray painted graffiti on a rear wall of the Grace Presbyterian Church, 550 Union Mill Road.

At 3:30 p.m. on March 12, a suspect stole an Apple watch, valued at $379, which was on display at AT&T Wireless, 1400 Nixon Drive.

At 9:05 p.m. on March 12, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the first block of West Azalea Lane for the report of a man armed with a handgun. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jordan M. Long, age 19, of Mt. Laurel. He was in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun and was wanted for the theft of a motor vehicle from a residence on Elkington Drive on Jan. 15. He was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and committed to the Burlington County Jail.

A resident on the first block of Hartford Road reported a window on his vehicle was purposely broken with a rock on March 12.

At 2:54 p.m. on March 10, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Costco for a shoplifting in progress. Officers arrested Joseph A. White, age 27, of Sicklerville. He was charged with shoplifting $514 worth of razor blades on March 10 and previously shoplifting Bose speakers worth $513 on March 7. He was released pending a court hearing.

On March 10, a resident on the 200 block of Belaire Drive reported jewelry was missing from their master bedroom. The investigation did not reveal any forced entry to the residence. The resident reported a cleaning service had recently been at the residence.
