The JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl team placed second at the Brigade Academic Bowl

Lenape High School’s JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl team recently captured second place in the 2nd Brigade Academic Bowl, a Northeastern U.S. regional Army JROTC competition, held at Francis Lewis High School in Queens, New York on March 4. The team made Lenape High School and its Army JROTC program’s history by earning a trophy for the first time.

“What impressed me most about our performance is that the questions were so broad that the results were a product of the Cadets being active learners in the classroom,” said Lenape HS Army JROTC Senior Army Instructor LTC(R) Ron Tuczak. “Also, we didn’t have a dominate player, so all Cadets contributed their knowledge to earn their place in Lenape history.”
