Many offices closed in Medford due to weather

With a state of emergency in effect in New Jersey, numerous places of business have decided to close their doors on March 14.

Department of Public Workds yard: The DPW yard will be closed on Tuesday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 15. The yard will re-open at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 16.

Trash pick-up: Trash pick-up will not take place in Medford today. Tuesday’s trash routes will be picked up on Wednesday this week. Wednesday’s routes will be picked up Thursday, Thursday’s routes will be picked on Friday and Friday’s routes will be picked up on Saturday.

State and county offices: All state and county offices are closed today due to weather. The Camden County Freeholder Board’s caucus meeting for tonight is cancelled and moved to Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at Rutgers-Camden.

Pinelands Branch Library: The library is closed on Tuesday, March 14. It will reopen on Wednesday, March 15 at 9 a.m.

Medford Township Public Schools: All Medford Township Public Schools are closed today. All activities taking place at school buildings, including after school and evening activities, are cancelled.

Shawnee High School: The Lenape Regional High School District school is closed on Tuesday, March 14.
