Madison Garaguso and Tyler McGuirl of Sicklerville were arrested.
The following information comes from the Gloucester Township Police Department:
On Monday, Feb. 20 at approximately 9:11 p.m., the Gloucester Township Police Department received a 911 call for a report of a 20 to 30-year-old female who was assaulted by a male subject that allegedly tried to pull her into a vehicle on Mayapple Road.
The Gloucester Township Police Department Juvenile and Family Services Bureau immediately began a comprehensive investigation developing a person of interest. The GTPD continued enhanced police operations to locate this person of interest. This male, Tyler McGuirl, was located by the GTPD Operations Response Unit and arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Berlin, at which time a controlled dangerous substance was found in his possession.
Further investigation by detectives determined the initial abduction was a false police report. The female had met McGuirl and a disagreement ensued and the known male fled the area in the white SUV described by the female in the initial police report.
Arrested: Madison Garaguso, 28 years old of the unit block of Mayapple Road, Sicklerville. Garaguso was charged with false police reports (fourth degree) and loitering to commit a CDS offense (disorderly person). She was released on a pending a future court appearance.
Also arrested was Tyler M. McGuirl, 19 years old of the unit block of Edgemere Court, Sicklerville. McGuirl was charged with possession of CDS (third degree). He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending court in default of bail.
