Teachers protest prior to board of education meeting

Before Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting, the Tabernacle Education Association protested outside Kenneth R. Olson Middle school. The teachers, who had been working without a contract since June 2016, read a statement during the public comment section of the meeting. Also during the meeting, the board recognized teachers and students for their accomplishments.

A talented Seneca High School Student is expressing her creative mind through a paint brush. Julie Bechtel is an award-winning artist who is looking to is currently taking AP Art. The senior takes pride in her artwork and other people have noticed her talent.

Seneca Student Council donates 77 pints of blood

The Seneca Student Council took some time out of their busy schedules for a great cause. The council hosted its annual spring blood drive and collected enough blood to help 231 people.
