Cherry Hill West grad dies following motorcycle crash in Pennsauken

Funeral services were scheduled on Thursday for 18-year-old Anthony Evans Jr.

A member of the Cherry Hill High School West Class of 2016 died earlier this week after being involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in Pennsauken on Sunday.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held on Thursday for 18-year-old Anthony Evans Jr. According to his obituary from Falco, Caruso and Leonard Funeral Home, Evans graduated from Cherry Hill West last year. He was a U.S. Army Reservist and had been involved in ROTC. Evans was also a member of the REVO youth group at Kingsway Assembly of God Church in Cherry Hill.

In a release, Pennsauken Township Police say Evans sustained fatal injuries in a crash that took place on Route 130 North at the Airport Circle on Sunday shortly after 10 a.m. Anyone who has additional information on the crash is asked to call the Pennsauken Police Traffic Division at (856) 488–0080 ext. 2300.
