Mt. Laurel Township to hold Feb. 27 council meeting at Municipal Utilities Authority building

Mayor Dennis Riley said the change in location would give council an opportunity to be near different residents’ neighborhoods.

Mt. Laurel Township has announced that the Feb. 27 meeting of the Mt. Laurel Township Council will be held at 41 Elbo Lane, at the Municipal Utilities Authority building.

The meeting will start at the regular time of 7 p.m.

Residents are to be advised that the meeting will not be held at the township’s regular council meeting place at the Mt. Laurel Municipal Complex.

Mayor Dennis Riley said the change in location would give council an opportunity to be in residents’ neighborhoods, instead of residents being required to come to council.

“This is something new that we’re trying,” Riley said.

In May council is currently scheduled to hold a meeting at the fire station on Church Road and in October council is scheduled to meet at the EMS building on Masonville Road.

Future council meeting dates, times and agendas can be viewed at www.mountlaurel.com.
