Evesham Police attempt to identify man suspected of stealing from St. Joan of Arc

On Feb. 13, police say an unknown male stole cash and gift cards from offices inside St. Joan of Arc after hiding inside the building.

The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

During the overnight hours of Feb. 13, police say an unknown male stole cash and gift cards from offices inside the St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willowbend Road.

Investigation determined that the male had entered the church at approximately 6:15 p.m. The suspect then hid inside a guest room on the second floor of the church, where members of the church live.

At around 11 p.m., police say the suspect began walking around the building stealing cash and gift cards from various rooms. It is believed that the male contacted a taxi cab company for transportation to an area around the Philadelphia Airport.

Police describe suspect is described as a male with a stocky build in his 40s with a thin mustache.
