Each year, the state Department of Corrections inspects municipal detention facilities. On Tuesday, Jan. 17, this annual inspection took place at the Medford Township Police Department and determined that the department was in full compliance with state requirements.

Teen “Ghana” host local fundraiser for volunteer trip

When a booklet on the Global Leadership Adventures program came in the mail to her residence, 15-year-old Cherry Hill High School West student Jade Sedeyn was instantly intrigued. After months of anticipation, this summer she will be participating in the program’s 21-day community service trip to Ghana, but first, she needs the community’s help with her fundraising efforts.

What’s new with the SJARMS?

The February South Jersey Acoustic Roots Music Society meeting will be held on Monday, Feb.13 at 7 p.m. at the Medford Memorial Community Center, located at 21 S. Main Street. The organization is having an open mic night followed by its usual acoustic jam until 9:30 p.m.

Burlington County Clerk’s Office moves to new location

Burlington County Clerk Tim Tyler has announced that beginning Feb. 6, the Burlington County Clerk’s Office, formerly housed at the Burlington County Complex, located at 49 Rancocas Road in Mt. Holly, will be permanently relocated directly across the street at 50 Rancocas Road on the third floor.
