Moorestown Town Council takes first step toward new turf field

The proposal to replace the synthetic turf for the middle field at Wesley Bishop Park has been a topic of conversation among Moorestown Town Council for months. Yet, at its meeting on Feb. 6, council passed the bond ordinance by a 5–0 vote, allowing for construction of the replacement field to begin.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, Fire District №1 and Fire District №2 will hold their fire elections. Voting will take place from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at two locations.

Originally introduced to Moorestown by parent and artist, Saraan Foster, in 1978, AGTS has thrived over these years, according to Richelle Rabenou, district co-chair of the program.

The Moorestown Business Association (MBA) launched its Spotlight Program in 2015 as a means to highlight established local businesses that have had a positive impact on the community. The MBA is broadening the program in 2017 by also applauding new businesses that enhance Moorestown, beginning with Math Accelerator, an innovative math enrichment center that makes learning fun for its students.

Burlington County Clerk’s Office moves to new location

Burlington County Clerk Tim Tyler has announced that beginning Feb. 6, the Burlington County Clerk’s Office, formerly housed at the Burlington County Complex, located at 49 Rancocas Road in Mt. Holly, will be permanently relocated directly across the street at 50 Rancocas Road on the third floor.
