Mayor’s Column — Voorhees Township launches free app, Voorhees O-N-E

The app was launched last month and has easy links to all Township sponsored events and special discounts from businesses.

Mayor Michael Mignogna

Voorhees Township is pleased to introduce our first free Township app, which was launched last month and already has over 1,000 downloads. The app is titled Voorhees O-N-E and is available from the App Store on your smart phone. The app has easy links to all Township sponsored events including trash and recycling days, leaf pick up, bulk trash pick-up weeks and the schedule for all board meetings. It also provides access to special discounts from our Township businesses through the Shop Voorhees Program.

There is also a link for free Uber rides as part of the Voorhees/Evesham Saves Lives Program.

Our app has a news link where you can easily keep up with local stories. There is also a 311 button to report issues needing attention by the Voorhees Township Public Works Department such as potholes, downed trees, sewer problems, etc.

Download this new free app to make sure you know what’s happening in Voorhees. If you have questions, contact our Community and Economic Development Director at (856) 216–0473 or e-mail at MDinatale@voorheesnj.com.

Voorhees Township is one of the first municipalities in South Jersey to create an app to keep our community informed.
