Woman wanted in Voorhees homicide attempt

The suspect fled the scene, but has been identified as Michelle Walls.

The following information comes from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Voorhees Township Police Department:

On Friday, Feb. 3 at approximately 10:45 p.m., Voorhees Township Police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a 25-year-old victim who had been shot multiple times, on the 100 block of Kirkbride Road.

The victim is being treated at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. The victim and the suspect were known to each other and it is alleged they got into a verbal and physical altercation.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival, but has been identified as Michelle Walls, age 26, of Voorhees.

The following charges are pending: one count first-degree attempted murder, one count second-degree aggravated assault, and one count second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

Walls was last seen wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans, black boots, and carrying a black bag.
