Motor vehicle stop leads to arrest for possession of marijuana

Passenger Kwame Brown was charged.

The following information comes from the Berlin Police Department:

On Jan. 22, an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of White Horse Pike and Hayes Avenue. As a result of this motor vehicle stop, the investigation led the officer to believe there was raw marijuana inside of the vehicle. A subsequent search led to 58 jars of marijuana in possession of a passenger. With these individual jars, was a digital scale used for weighing the marijuana.

Passenger Kwame Brown was subsequently charged and has a pending court date in Camden County Superior Court.
